(16 November 1844-2 January 1920)
. Father of Morihei UESHIBA, founder of aikido. Prosperous landowner who engaged in fishing and lumber trades. Member of TANABE and Nishinotani village councils from 1892-1910. Visited Hokkaido together with Zenzo INOUE (father of Yoichiro INOUE) while his son was living in SHIRATAKI village and met Sokaku TAKEDA.
